This is the monument of The Chinese Calligraphy Stone Gallery which is the symbol of this beautiful and magnificent garden. The wordings on the monument are written by the international famous China calligrapher, Mr. Zhou Junjie from Zhengzhou, Henan. The animal under the monument is known as Bixi, however, most of the people are looking it as a tortoise. According to Chinese legend, Bixi was the eldest son of the nine sons of Chinese Dragon, and it was also called Baxia. Generally, you will see Bixi under a monument. This is so called “The Holy Tortoise with Giant Stone at The Back”. However, this is a good sign which brings fortune and longevity. It is said that anyone who touches Bixi will be granted good fortune and blessing.
